We arrived in Vermont Sunday afternoon to sunny 55-degree weather. It was a bit colder than Massachusetts 80 degrees when we left. We found our spot at North Beach State campground, site 112 and set up for the next two days. Once we were set up, we headed to church street to check out the sights and have dinner at Kens Pizza and Pub. Pizza, Yum!
The next morning, we got up and headed down about a half hour to Waterbury, Vermont. We got coffee from the local green mountain cafe and then headed over to Ben & Jerry’s for a tour and a sample of the Americone Dream. (Highly recommended!)
After lunch with the puppies at the camper we went over to Shelburne, Vermont to Shelburne Vineyard for a tour and wine sampling. A visit to Vermont Teddy Bear where we got a teddy bear of our own. Next stop the Fiddle Head Brewery to taste their beer. We were only in Vermont for a couple of nights but were able to take in the sights and enjoy a moment of downtime.
